Starting technology projects can be daunting. Here are a few tips to make the projects you take on go smoothy and increase the chances of success.
First, make a list of all the areas that you would like to improve with new tech. This can be shopping, cooking, day planning, car maintenance, stock trading or any other area of your life that seems like an enhancement from tech would benefit from. Now, really consider how tech could help. Sometimes tech can actually make things more complicated. Here’s an example; Shaun has a new 2016 Ford Edge and knows that maintenance is important to keep it running it’s best and prevent repairs bills. So, he gets a maintenance tracking app on his phone, enters data religiously, opens up GPS tracking to the app so it knows all the required data. He then spends valuable time reading the pop ups and articles suggested on tire composition and upholstery cleaning techniques. AI (artificial intelligence) isn’t quite there yet, but Siri, Google Assistant, and Alexa are great ways to streamline searches and repetitive tasks without having to go through a lot of setups. Warning: Large tech companies don’t give away this luxury. So, quite a bit of privacy will be traded for it. Overall, tech can make your life tremendously easier. Just remember good tech will always free you up for a more productive and fulfilling life.Â
The main purpose of tech is to make your life more productive. If you find yourself working for your tech, rethink if a simple day planner or
